At this year’s 22nd Annual Paine Field Aviation Day, I had the incredible honor and pleasure to fly in the HFF’s DC3. My parents took me on a DC3 flight in 1947 when I was 3 years old from Eastern to Western Washington, which I remember clearly. So it was a thrill to reprise that flight 70 years later, in a C47/DC3 which was born the same year I was, 1944 :).

Thanks to the HFF for the amazing plane, and to our pilots, Skip Forster and Gene Vezetti for an amazing flight. Below is a 15 minute YouTube video of our flight.

Last year I had the opportunity to ride in a B-25 for the first time and it was a thrill. I want to thank everyone involved especially the pilots Mike Kopp and Bill Mnich who flew Grumpy. We were also treated to an escort as John flew the Impatient Virgin along side for a couple of minutes and that was just over the top. Many thanks again to John, Mike, Bill and every one at Historic Flight Foundation. Also I put together a small pic/vid of the flight which is now on the tube. Enjoy and thanks.

I’m an amateur who has small Aptek camera. I like airplanes and think my photos show that. Here’s a link to photos of some of the WW II planes at Paine Field plus video clips of flybys. Help yourself to any that you like. Included are two video clips of the B-25 and P-51′s.
