“The Supermarine Spitfire in History and in Flight”

April 17 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pilots and enthusiasts are encouraged to enroll in the Spitfire Ground School scheduled to occur on April 17. The pilot faculty will address aircraft history, systems, normal and emergency procedures, flying characteristics and performance. The class will participate in a pre-flight inspection and observe an engine run. The balance of the day will be devoted to thorough consideration of the Battle of Britain, Eighty Plus One. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lunch included. Presentations by Mike Lavelle, Barry Latter and John Sessions. Call 509.535.6000 to reserve your spot and pay the fee of $250. A gift certificate is available should you know someone deserving of this experience.
